Bamboo handle, sisal (agave sisalana) bristles, metal clamp.

To change the replacement head:

1. Wedge the prongs of a fork between the base of the bamboo head and the small metal ring.
2. Loosen the metal ring, using the fork, by pushing it down towards the handle. This will loosen the metal prongs clamped around the bamboo head.
3. Remove the bamboo & sisal brush, and replace with a new one. (keep it for cleaning your oven, stove, bathtub etc.)
4. Use a fork to push the metal ring back up to the base of the bamboo replacement head and make sure the clamp is secure

To sanitize replacement head:
Place in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution for 10 minutes and allow to fully air dry. For best results place in the sun outdoors to dry.

Or, remove head and place bristle side down in a pot with just enough water to cover the bristles. Add a dash of baking soda and boil for 5-10 minutes. Remove and allow it to fully air dry. For best results place in the sun outdoors to dry.

Disposal

Repurpose the replacement heads for general cleaning.

It is perfect for cleaning glass stove tops, ovens, sinks and bathtubs because it is abrasive but non-scratch.

The handle should last for years with proper care, please check your local waste management facility for final disposal.
