Tips for using a safety razor:

1. Hold the razor at a 30° to 45° angle.

2. Use short, slow strokes and hold the skin taught.

3. Shave in the same direction of hair growth, not against it to minimize irritation.

4. Don't apply too much pressure, allow the weight of the razor to do most of the work for you.

5. Exfoliate and condition before you shave. In doing so you can create an smoother shaving environment that will help avoid friction that causes irritation or nicks.

How to change a safety razor blade:
1. Carefully unscrew the head from the handle by gripping the head on the narrow edges and spinning the handle.
2. Place the handle aside and separate the top and bottom pieces.
3. Insert a new razor blade on the top half of the head.
4. Reattach the bottom half of the head
5. Carefully and firmly grip the narrow edges of the head to screw the handle back in.
